Reagan Ryan is a multimedia journalist and investigative reporter. She specializes in video storytelling, broadcast journalism and digital reporting. She holds a master’s degree in investigative journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in English with a specialization in Editing, Writing and Media from Florida State University.

Most recently, she worked as a multimedia journalist for Spectrum News 13 in Orlando, Florida. She covered the environment and climate, along with daily and breaking news. She has also worked as an investigative reporter for the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a 2025 Pulitzer Finalist in Investigative Reporting for her work as a visual and digital reporter in the Howard Center’s collaboration with The Associated Press on “Lethal Restraint,” a database and reporting series documenting deaths caused by police restraint.

She was a 2023 - 2024 Report for America Corps Member during her time at Spectrum News 13. She was also inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha, a journalism college honor society, for being in the top 10% of her graduate program. She is a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors.
